In case you haven't heard, David and I are moving. I'm going to try my hardest to take pictures of our new place and post them but i'm not making any promises.

We're moving to a little home in Draper that is going to be so nice, and thankfully I can just take the TRAX downtown to work. It'll be really good for us.

So wish us luck and I'll try and post some pictures later...!

scrapbooking, or something similar.

I am a HORRIBLE scrapbooker... Horrible! but I've recently discovered that scrapbooking via a computer, not so hard. I love playing on photoshop, I always have. and now I actually have something useful to do. So here are a few pages I made just the other week...

About a week or two ago I had this urge to make cookies. Now I pride myself on being a good cookie maker, I've always loved doing it and most people seem to enjoy my cookies. So David and I made Snickerdoodles, and now everyone would like the recipe i used. I just found it online and tweeked it a little.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Cream together butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, the eggs and the vanilla. Blend in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls.
3. Mix the 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls of dough in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until set but not too hard. Remove immediately from baking sheets.

this is my tweeked recipe. hope you enjoy!
